Inspired by the essence of modern exploration, the suitcase, airplane, and globe form a unified symbol of adventure, movement, and global connection. It reflects our commitment to making every journey seamless and memorable, wherever the destination may be.

Clear Space

To maintain visual impact and legibility, the Ciao Travels logo must always be surrounded by a defined area of clear space. This ensures it remains uncluttered and prominent across all applications. The minimum clear space is determined by the height of one of the three icon boxes — marked as “✖” in this guide. No other graphic elements, text, or edges should encroach within this boundary.

Identity

Our logo is always displayed in white to emphasize clarity and maintain a crisp, professional look—echoing the straightforwardness of global travel. For maximum visibility and contrast, the size and background color are carefully adapted to different applications. This ensures the logo remains legible, recognizable, and vibrant, no matter where it appears.

Bold and vibrant backgrounds like Deep Teal are paired with larger logo sizes to create a striking visual presence.

Softer backgrounds like Mint or Sand are used with smaller logo sizes for elegant, minimalistic placements.

Ciao Travels Zambia Typeface

PRIMARY TYPEFACE

Our primary typeface, Montserrat Underline, is a bold and structured sans-serif with a distinctive underline feature. Its modern geometric form brings a sense of clarity and stability, while the underlined style adds a unique, travel-inspired emphasis—perfectly complementing the confident and adventurous spirit of the Ciao Travels brand.

SECONDARY TYPEFACE

Our secondary typeface, Playfair Display, is a classic high-contrast serif that adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the brand. It pairs beautifully with Montserrat Underline by softening bold layouts with refined detail.

HIERARCHY

We use Montserrat Underline Regular in most applications—from main headlines to subheadings and callouts. Its strong structure and underlined flair give a bold, recognizable tone across all messaging. In short hero headings, the underline accent helps draw attention to key travel themes or destinations.

We use Playfair Display for contrast and elegance in selective placements—like editorial-style headlines, featured quotes, CTAs, and promotional links. Its refined serif style adds a sense of sophistication and warmth that complements the boldness of our primary typeface.

Paired with warm sun-kissed tones, gentle earth neutrals, and refreshing aqua shades, our palette balances professionalism with a welcoming, wanderlust-driven spirit. Identity

In flexible branding scenarios, the Ciao Travels symbol can be used independently or paired with the word mark in thoughtful compositions. For consistency, the symbol and word mark are proportionally scaled depending on the layout and platform. In small-scale applications, the symbol aligns directly with the word mark height. As scale increases, the symbol aligns with the height of the word “TRAVELS” and anchors to its baseline—ensuring visual harmony across all brand touch points.
